Bridging Worlds Through Music (BWTM) offers free music education to children and youth in Tanzania. Our focus is to empower young people through musical creation and expression. Our programs help youth build essential skills such as teamwork, cooperation and creative problem solving, to allow them to reach for their dreams. We believe that music can be a conduit for both healing and learning.
At BWTM, we work with local teachers to build their capacity by providing training in music pedagogy. Our work is guided by a commitment to inclusion, gender parity, and providing opportunities for individual growth. We believe that music can change hearts and minds, and help people develop integral skills for success.
